Every single CJ part is available through the Ford Racing catalog! You could build an exact copy but with a vin for the street.

No. I don't even think they have VINs only serial numbers.

True CJs are not road-legal (no vin). The only thing limiting the use of a street-legal mustang with a full CJ conversion is the size of the driver's testes.

Beyond lacking a VIN the CJ would be street legal aslong as there isn't emissions or safety inspections. I know tons of folks who drive Mustang with slicks and skinnies on the street.
